Nov 10, 2000That’s what you get with a progressive or rising rate suspension. On the Veteq the spring is compressed about 0.65 mm in the beginning of the suspension travel up to 0.8 mm at the end. Both numbers with the wheel moving up 1mm. So at the end you have a progressive (rising rate) characteristic of the wheel related spring rate, while the spring itself has a linear characteristic(constant rate).

When creating a set up from your member page, or when visiting a track or event, several non-Serpent chassis can be selected now. Available are 1/8 scale chassis of Kyosho, Picco, HPI, Mugen and SMP. Set-ups marked 'Public' are available to the whole community and will be listed on the relevant track pages and on the member page.

Nov 3, 2000Have you ever watched your chassis plate? I guess you did and you hated these scratches on your brand new chassis! Look at the photo, it is the chassis of my Vector which I used since the Euro's in Madeira, about 10 hours old. It's full of scratches, each one of it a result of chassis-ground contact.
