The first ever Munster GP for 1:10 190mm EP Touring cars organised by the Fermoy Model Car Club took place in Cork, Ireland, over the weekend where Team Serpent Ireland enjoyed great success securing victories in both the A and B Finals.

Having TQ\'d his Serpent S400 for the event which attracted 35 competitors from across the country, Chris Lawlor took his Serpent S400 to Leg 1 victory followed home by team-mate Keith Dempsey.

In Leg 2 the result was reversed with Dempsey taking the win ahead of his S400 team-mate. This left the Team Serpent Ireland pairing equal on points but with Lawlor having being the fastest qualifier he secured the win from Dempsey.
Adding to the 1-2 result, Oisin O\'Briain made it three S400s in the A Final finishing 6th overall on his EP racing debut.

There was also success for the S400 in the B Final with Niki Meredith taking a victory in both legs to claim the overall win.

Following the success of the first ever running of the Munster GP, the event looks set to become an annual event on the Irish RC Racing calendar.
Team Serpent Ireland would like to congratulate Eugene O\'Connor & the Fermoy Model Car Club on making the event happen and thank them for their very welcoming hospitality.
