The youngest member of the 'Serpent Driver Development' program, Kyle Branson, put in a superb performance over the weekend to finish on the podium in the second round of the British 1/10th Championships at Brookland.

Driving his Mega powered Serpent 710, the reigning European 1/10th Junior Champion qualified 5th fastest of the 75 strong entry to secure a place in the A Final.

A good start in the final saw the 12-year-old quickly move into fourth. Some excellent driving then saw him climb his way up 2nd but a spin saw him passed for the position. A 20-lap battle with fellow Serpent driver Gareth Bell followed but a slow final pit stop meant Kyle was unable to regain second.

Crossing the line in third this was an excellent result for the SDD driver who will shortly race for the first time outside of the UK when he makes his debut in the European 1/8th B Championship at Carole in Paris.
