- May 8, 2024 A new promotion clip from our latest Serpent Mini Spyder RTR car!! The Serpent Mini Spyder RTR is a small 1/24 ep buggy made of super elastic plastic to absorb shocks well, high-grip off-road wheels and equipped with the finest technology, the vehicle leaves nothing to be desired. The coreless motor accelerates the RC car up to 20km/h. If this is too fast for you in the living room or children's room, you can also reduce the speed thanks to a rotary control nub. Throttle/brake and steering commands are sensitively implemented in full proportion by the 2.4GHz remote control. Due to the modern transmission system, several vehicles can of course be driven at the same time. So nothing stands in the way of the mini Grand Prix at home!

Round 6 of the British 200mm Nationals were held on the 27th / 28th August at the excellent Stonehaven circuit up in Scotland.
Saturdays practice was held under dry conditions despite the forecast being for rain. Traction was ok to start off with and it wasn’t long before all cars were up to racing pace. Due to the nature of the Stonehaven track, tyre wear is really high so many drivers worked on trying to reduce this for Sunday’s finals.
Due to overnight rain qualifying was run under damp and greasy conditions. I managed to win all 4 rounds of qualifying to take FTD with my Serpent 733.
Shortly before the final was due to start the track rapidly dried up so there was a rush in the pits to true some dry tyres for the final.
As the final started I got an excellent start off the line and had already lapped the entire field within a few minutes. I lead every second of the race and in the end won a full 3 laps clear of second placed Alex Thurston, with Adam Catchpole taking third.
With this result I have now moved into first place of the British 200mm Championship.
In the Sports GT 220mm class it was also a dominant performance by Glyn Beal as he secured FTD and the win with his Serpent 733 to record an excellent weekend for team Serpent.
Round 7 will take place at the very tight and technical Colchester circuit in 2 weeks time.
Thanks to my sponsors; Elite RC racing, Serpent UK, Contact RC, RC Sure-Start, RC Bearings.co.uk, YMC Racing, and especially a big thanks to my Dad/mechanic.
