van Gastel took TQ honors in the 1st race of the Dutch championship, running the brand-new Mega ZX-21 DS4 engine / 2033 pipe.
6 seconds and more faster in 7 minute qualifying then Vrielinck, d-Hondt, Ermen and Cuypers.
The final started wet on Aqua's and a hectic tyre change to normal tyres stopped chances for a win. 4th place in the end, charging hard to catch the leaders, and doing by far the fastest laptimes of anyone in the final.
