The sixth & final round of the 2008 Poland EP Touring Car Championship was run last weekend at the OSiR track in Klodzko with the DTM 540 title still up for grabs. Good weather and good grip levels on this beautiful large circuit was the perfect setting for Serpent driver and defending Champion Jakub Franek to claim the 2008 crown.

Driving his S400, Franek took the No.2 spot in qualifying but a good tyre choice for the finals allowed him to take the win and wrap up the 2008 title ahead of Michal Erazmus and Lukas Wojtarowicz.

After the Finals Jakub said: “I’m very happy due to my second title! Here is a lot of good work by my Franek Motorsport Team Manager Jerzy Franek, and Team boss of Serpent Racing Team Poland Norbert Rekawek. I just want to say them Thank You. On the other hand the Serpent S400 is a wonderful car!”
