The latest round of the German National Qualifiers West Region produced a great result for Team Serpent despite thunderstorms causing the finals at the Oberhausen track to be cancelled. TQing for the event it was Serpent veteran Karl Heinz Meisters that took the win with his Mega powered 720 \'08.
A great performance in qualifying by the Serpent team meant no less than six 720s filled the Top 10 places with Meister at the top ahead of team-mate Marcus Mobers.
With the bad weather forcing the finals to be abandoned the final result was declared on the qualifying order handing Serpent drivers an important 1-2 result.
