Last weekend, the German Summer Championships 2008 were held in Hannoversch Münden, Germany. Team Serpent Germany drivers Freddy Südhoff and Martin Schmidt where there with their S400s and used the car to dominate the race weekend.

In the 19T class Schmidt TQ\'d before going on to take the overall win. Joining him on the podium was fellow Serpent S400 driver Thomas Mirke who took his example to third overall.

In Modified it was Südhoff who took the overall win having started the finals from pole. Winning 4 of 5 qualification rounds he set TQ time producing a new track record time of 13.2 seconds during his third heat. Dennis Fadtke made it two Modified spec S400s in the final eventually finishing 8th overall.
