The first round for the 2008 UK 235mm and Truck Series was held at the New Cotswold Circuit recently where Serpent topped the results.

Racing on the fast and flowing circuit which features a down hill section in the middle of the track, it was Richard Boult who TQ\'d the Trucks with his 720 chassis while Glyn Beal took pole in the 235mm class with his Serpent 835.

In the Finals both drivers had near faultless runs to take the victory a result they will be hoping to repeat at Round 2 of the UK Series which takes place at Halifax on May 11 - www.halifaxtrack.co.uk
