Maxim Claes marked himself out as a young racer to watch when the 15-year-old took his Mega MF powered Serpent 720 \'08 to victory in the opening round of the T2 Belgian 1:10 200mm National Championship over the weekend.

Racing at the Rumst track, Claes was in top form taking the TQ before going on to win the 30-minute final from his elders Vazza Doato and Leonard Gerard.
