We are pleased to present to you the ultimate tool to ensure long and reliable engine life. The Engine Break-in Bench was especially developed to have your .21 .15 or .12 engine mounted to it. Once fitted the engine can run with the supplied propeller attached. This process ensures proper fitting of the engine components. With very little strain placed on the engine during run in, this ensures engine longevity.
By using the propeller method of running in you control the conditions better than by running-in your engine in the car. You can run the engine at lower RPM for 10 minutes, followed by a 15 minute run at higher RPM. The moving parts have time to settle without being loaded too much, and under controlled temperature and lubrication conditions.
Engine life depends very much on how the engine is ran in, and using the ERB you will extend the time your engine will deliver top-performance with 20 to 40% before having to change conrod, ball-bearings or piston and liner set. Expert drivers use this method of running-in for a long time now, and you always wondered why they had such good engines.
Using the Engine Run-in Bench reduces the run-in time with at least 50% with better performance and durability results.
The Engine Run-in Bench is hassle free. Mount the propeller with the special adapter to the crankshaft, place the engine in the ERB, fill up the fuel tank, start the engine and let it run for 25 minutes. Compare this with having to use your racing car, running around at low speed for 45 to 60 minutes, using up tires, parts and always at high risk of being hit by another car because you drive too slow.
The Engine Run-in Bench can be used for all .15 and .21 size engines using crankshafts with the 5mm clutch extension. You save money not having to use your racing car and avoid the risk of breaking anything on the car while running-in your engine.
