Serpent Driver Development team member Sang Joon Nam proved his worth at the recent 1:10 200mm Touring Korean National Championships when he added the title to his CV at the Kirina circuit in Pochon Kyung Ki Do near Seoul.

Serpent Driver Development team member Tobias Hepp claimed the biggest prize yet of his promising career when he was crowned the 2008 EFRA European B 1:8 On Road Junior Champion over the weekend in Austria.

Molzer Mowery Racing hosted their annual MMR Electric Challenge recently in Minnesota with racing for both 1:10 190mm and 1:12 EP cars. Both the organiser and a competitor in the event, Andrew Mowery send us the following account of his racing exploits over the two day indoor event -

Serpent Driver Development team member Nam SangJoon was a dominant force at the recent Korean On-road Race Grand Prix Championship at the Kirina Circuit which was host venue for the 2nd round of nine race series.
Completing in both the 1:10 and 1:8 GP categories, Nam used his Mega powered Serpents well to TQ both classes.
In the half hour 1:10 final he drove a great race with his 720 '08 to take the win a lap clear of the chasing pack while fellow Serpent driver An Hyon Ho made it two Serpent/Mega combinations on the podium with a trong drive to third.

The final of the Serpent backed Korea Cup 2007 took place at the Kirina Circuit in PoChun area near Seoul where Serpent drivers Ahn Hyun Ho and Nam Sang Jun took race victory and overall championship success.

Located at South Point Hotel and Casino just a few miles off of the main strip in Las Vegas, Nevada we found ourselves just about ready to embark on one of the largest indoor carpet races of the American season. With a few weeks worth of testing with the S400 prior to the event, I felt that the chances of doing well were above average.
I arrived at Las Vegas on the Tuesday prior to the event just in time to catch up with Rene, discuss the car and make it down to the ballroom for Registration. The track looked great, pits vast and the sponsor banner hanging high in the sky just behind the driver...
