Majuran with 411 wins the German Nats Hobby.
After qualifying 2nd behind TQ man Kremer.
In the finals Majuran was able to take the win in the 1st heat, the 2nd one left to Kreder, but was able to take the win in the 3rd final and the overall win. Congratulations.
Thorsten Schmitz, Ingo Herschbach and Nico Hoppe also made in into the Amain, making it 5 Serpent 411 in the main.

The production and logistics department have made many extra hours to get all the new kits ready for release.
The following kits are now ready to ship, and will arrive to your hobby shop in the next 2 weeks depending on shipping time:

The next batch of the Serpent Cobra Buggy 811-TE will ship end march again.
We now proceed with production of the Serpent Cobra 1/8 GT, the 411 Sport and the Serpent 747, all planned for april relase.

After 4 rounds of qualifying Marc Fischer (Serpent) won 2 of the 4 heats and is on pole, followed by Sieber, Mobers and Asmer also with Serpent 120-LT.
Also after the 5th run TQ for Fischer.
TITC Thailand: Fischer TQ and wins FWD class with 411-FF (28/02/2012)

Marc Fischer raced in the Front wheel drive = FWD class in the famous TITC race in Bangkok Thailand.
Fischer TQ-ed 2 of the 3 heats, and took the TQ postion with the brand new Serpent 411-FF, ahead of Groskamp and Hara.
Also Meen and Ho were racing the 411-FF and both made it into the Amain too. So 3 411-FF cars in the final.

It was a little bit challenging. It started not well due to the missing grip at the beginning but the S120 LT car felt really good during practice!
I made 2 - 3 small mistakes in the first round of qualifying, I lost 4 sec. but nevertheless I managed to take the 4th place.
The first run was fast enough to secure a place in the A-Main. Something strange happened with the car for the next runs and I could not figure out what.
For the final, I rebuild the full car, but already after 4 laps I got some tire problems (broken tire) and I finished the race on 10th position only.

Friday’s practice
Unfortunately the practice did not well at all, the car felt relatively OK but it was too slow and after the first timed practice I was on 17th place :-(! In the second session it was even worth, I was 21st!)
1st heat
I could gain the lead but unfortunately I made 3 or 4 small mistakes, I lost 5 seconds and I finished on 10th position.
2nd heat
In this heat, the car was not so good and very difficult to drive so I was only 14th!
3rd heat
I experimented on some slight setup changes, rear and front springs, Shock/Oil, as well...

Training
I started off with 2 different 411 cars to see which worked better as starting point.
We had 4 practise runs, run 1 with car 1, run 2 with car 2, and last 2 runs with 411 that felt best. In the 3rd run I was always in the top-3 which was excellent. Last run was worse result as I needed to run in a set of tyres and was 7th. Still good enough to start in the top-heat.

Serpent is introducing this Limited Edition of the Serpent 411, to celebrate the big success of the Serpent 411 in general, the victory in the 2011 German Champs, where Marc Fischer with Serpent 411, won ahead of Volker and Rheinard and to offer something exclusive for the Serpent fans.
