S400 is Parana’s 2008 EP Stock Champion (18/09/2008)

Team Serpent Brazil electric touring car driver Felipe Franceschi is the Parana’s 2008 EP Stock Champion. Despite coming from Sao Paulo, Franceschi contested the four round championship, all of which took place at the Dino Speedway Carpet Race Track in the capital of Parana State Curitiba, claiming the title with his S400.

Drivers faced with a different track layout for each round and with all races counting towards the final standings it was important to be able to adapt to the changes quickly. Felipe did just that and was on the podium at every event notching up 3 wins and a third place enroute to the title.

The Parana´s EP Stock Championship featured controlled batteries, motors and tires for all competitors making chassis choice a critical part. All running Corally 4200 NiMH, 10.5 motors and Jaco foam tires, Felipe was the only racer using the Serpent’s S400 chassis which in addition to taking the three wins also set the fastest lap of the day on three occassions.
