Michael Salven has won the 2nd round of the German West series for 1/8th scale that took place last weekend at the Dormagen track, near Cologne. Driving his Mega ZX21 DSII+ powered Serpent 960, Michael could easily take the top qualifying spot by half a lap, as well as setting the fastest lap of the event, and could win the main final by 9 laps ahead of young Kyosho driver Tobias Hepp.

Serpent had 2 other 960 cars in the final driven by Karl-Heinz Meister and Axel Thorwesten with Meister having problems with his back pressure pipe which lost him a lot of time and so could only manage 5th with Thorwesten 10 laps further back in 6th and the last car running.
