Reigning British Champion Kyle Branson ( Serpent 733) , who had been busy attending the 1/8th Worlds in Miami, sent us this report from the first round of the BRCA 1/10th 200mm nationals was held at the end of March in the Cotswoulds district. The weather forecast looked promising for the weekend, the sun was shining Saturday morning which looked set to be a really nice day. The traction levels were not too bad to start off with, but with plenty of cars going around the track it soon increased. The 4th and last qualifier has been run, and it is Serpent's Paolo Morganti taking the 4th round with Serpent 966-WC, improving on his best time with a with 36 laps in 10:00.906, and moving up to 7th spot.
The 1st 2 heats have been raced on wednesday, with last 2 groups not racing heta 2 due to rain. They are allowed to run today.
Heat 3 and 4 still to go. Due to the new tyres rules / discussions, only 4 heats instead of 6.
For Serpent its Morganti on 6, Salven on 12 ( his 1st heat was better, but car was underweight, as he fogot he lend his weight to team -mate Cristiani earlier), 19th supertalent Kyle Bransson and on 20 Mark Green. Other Serpent drivers also show good speed, but lack consistency in driving.

For the 3rd time in a row Tim Wood has clinched the 1/8 scale National Title for Serpent.
Really impressive performance as the level of competition in England is really high with Mark Green, Kyle Branson and Richard Hicklin around and many others too.
Some wins and always on the front row and many podium finished.

Kyle Branson showed off his great pace again , at the Brooklands race-track.
With his Sirio powered Serpent 966, he took TQ honours, just ahead of Team_mate Mark Green.
In the final he was able to stay ahead as well and take the win in this pin-ultimate round of the UK Nats.
Great podium finish also of Serpent-Mega driver John Carr !!

Kyle Branson sent us this report on the 7th round of the BRCA 1/10th scale national series that was held last weekend at Adur, just on the coast of Brighton under mostly dry conditions.
On Saturday the traction was quite low at the start but got a little better during the day. My car wasnt too bad but there was room for improvement. Johnathan Dobney was the fastest at the end of the day with a 15.25 second lap with myself and Mark Green following closely.
